This one took more creativity. I think my kids are going to love this! It really will spark their thinking!

Creating a Wiki
I think this could be an amazing tool for planning! I created one for our upcoming fieldtrip and sent an invite to my grade level colleagues. For the kids...I want us to use it for an upcoming research project...I think it would be great for them to be able to see what others are learning. We could use a blog too, but this seems easier as a starter project- Any thoughts?

Google Reader
The RSS feeder is a good way to keep up with what is going on without going to multiple websites. It was very easy to setup and use.

Glogster Poster
I found this assignment a little more difficult than some of the others, but again, once I got the hang of it, it was fun. I can see where this could be very useful for the classroom for presentations. Here is the link to my glogster poster: http://andersonsadventuers.edu.glogster.com/glog-6652-799/

Google Docs
Google Docs is very user friendly. I have used it before so this assignment was a breeze.

Delicious Social Bookmarking!
I am going to love this! No more browsing the web for hours reading lists and lists only to find out the link is broken or the information is irrelevant! Plus, when you add friends, you get all of their sites too! Amazing! Why didn't I know about this earlier?

My experience setting up this blog
I am the first to admit I am not "tech savvy." So setting up a blog was a little intimidating for me. I avoided it for a while as if upon opening it a technology bug would invade me...However, this has been reasonably quick and painless! Ii has been fairly easy to maneuver around in here and it's not so bad. I honestly don't see myself setting one up for this year as a first year teacher, as I am still trying to learn as much as I can from my peers and making sure that I stay on top of things. But I would like to set one up for next year for my parents to follow our class. I think it would be a great experience for the children and myself, plus I think the parents would like a paperless way to know what is going on. Also, I think the younger parents may respond to the word BLOG. Thanks ECAP!!!
